Shelly Rosen
Shelly Rosen (Jacques Estrange) has been
performing for 42 years, and began his acting career in New York in 1966 with a
group called the Pageant Players. This company appeared all over the East Coast
from 1966 through 1971. In Santa Barbara, Shelly has performed at the Garvin
Theatre, Center Stage and the Circle Bar B. Some of his favorite roles include
Ira Stone in Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Dr. Stewart Farmington in Beyond
Therapy, and the Rag Picker in Mad Woman of Chaillot. Shelly also helped write
and perform an original play, Oscar's Lips, with The Bug Eye Theatre. His
one-man show consists of original stories, which he has presented at various
locations around town. |
