Brian Harwell (Bernie) is pleased to be making his fourth appearance on the Circle Bar B stage (4.1 if you count recent cameos). He was seen at the Ranch in last year’s The Dining Room, 2004’s "Sylvia", and 2003’s "The Dinner Party".

Other acting and directing credits include numerous productions at Santa Barbara City College, Center Stage Theatre, The Victoria Hall Theater, Seaside Theatre Company, The Ojai Art Center, The Rubicon Theatre, and the Elite Theatre in Oxnard.

He is a grateful product of the acting and directing curriculum at Santa Barbara City College, where he twice received the annual Outstanding Actor Award. Previous to theatre, Brian had an adventurous life as a blues and R&B drummer, and he is delighted by the opportunity to dust off his chops and marry these two forms of performance expression in the same piece.

His performance is dedicated to the late bass-player Eddie Love, who crafted Brian’s feral drumming style into the dynamic, timekeeping piece of class that you’ll hopefully experience tonight.
