Jim Cook Jim Cook (director) has directed theater in Santa Barbara since the late 1960s at the Timbers Theater with Chuck and Marcelle Wilson and at the Ranch with Janet and Ruben Caballero. His early productions included Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Boys in the Band, Zorba! and The Threepenny Opera for Zodiac Associates Productions. At the Ranch he has directed, among other plays, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Shirley Valentine, The Supporting Cast, Educating Rita, the original Rumors, Steel Magnolias, Sylvia, You Say Tomatoes, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and The Murder Room. |
