Leslie Ann Story
Leslie Ann Story (Mrs. Kravitz, McCarthy & Van Nostrand) was last seen as Bev Davies in Mentor Theatre Company’s Graceland at Center Stage Theatre. Last year she played Margaret Sanger in Two Margarets, as part of the Theatrical Treats series at the Victoria Hall Theatre, Verla Perkins in the Circle Bar B Theatre’s production of Don’t Mention My Name and as Marija in SBCCTG’s production of Ambition Facing West at the Garvin Theatre. In recent years she portrayed Felicity, Countess of Marshwood in Relative Values, numerous roles in The Dining Room, Lottie in The Murder Room and Edith in Jake’s Women at The Ranch and as Poncia in The House of Bernarda Alba at Center Stage. She has also been seen in SBCCTG’s The Laramie Project (Alison Mears, Sherry Johnson, et al), as Gay Wellington in You Can’t Take It With You, and in Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, and has performed in UCSB TAG’s production of Richard III as the Duchess of York and portrayed Esther in Seaside Theatre Company’s To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday. Leslie continues to record radio dramas and performs in a variety of Readers’ Theatre Groups’ presentations. She has appeared in over 45 local stage productions with various theatre companies and lends her talents to local television and radio commercials, independent film, PSAs and voiceovers. |
