Stephanie Sivers
Stephanie Sivers (Francis) is a native Santa Barbaran, has performed a variety of roles in operas, musical theater, choral works and solo concerts at Aspen Music Festival, Italy’s Spoleto Arts Symposium, Chico State University, Chico Civic Light Opera, Santa Barbara Grand Opera, Santa Barbara’s Theater of Life for Children’s A Tribute to the Musical, Ballet Santa Barbara’s Les Petit Ballet and A New York Perspective, and several seasons at Arts & Letter’s “Opera Under the Stars,” to name a few. Stephanie’s most recent performances in Santa Barbara have been Dijo Production/Virtual Theatre’s presentation of Spoon River Anthologies and as featured vocalist in Ballet Santa Barbara’s “Up Close & Cultural.” Sivers has been the recipient of several vocal awards, including Santa Barbara’s Leni Fe Bland Competition Grant, placing second in Santa Barbara’s Performing Arts Scholarship Foundation Competition, Santa Barbara Foundation Peabody Music Grant, vocal scholarships to perform and study at the Aspen Music Festival and music scholarships from Chico State University. Siver released her first album, titled “Sultry Standards,” in 2006 where it was charted in the top 10 on several radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Her second album, “Stetit Puella: There Stood A Girl,” will be released this summer.
