Sean O’Shea (Wally Murdock) Sean was last seen in the Circle Bar B’s runaway hit; It Runs in the Family as the stuffy Dr. Mortimier. Prior to that he was seen at The Center Stage Theater reprising his role in It Had To Be You, a benefit for K9 Pals. Sean began his foray into acting at San Diego State University back in 1982 after deciding to leave the field of Aerospace Engineering for which he didn’t have the personality. Since then he has acted in roughly 80 productions, which includes almost the entire Shakespeare canon. Sean is founder and former artistic director of the Santa Barbara Shakespeare Festival. He’s been seen in their productions of The Miser, Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Twelfth Night, Pvt. Wars, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He has performed at San Diego State, The Old Globe, and with the companies Actors for Actors, Black Friars, The Bowery (San Diego), and with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival (Boise). Sean’s local productions include Sherlock’s Last Case, It Had To Be You, The Odd Couple, Leading Ladies, and Who’s in Bed with the Butler (Circle Bar B); The Man Who Came to Dinner, Enchanted April, Smash, Lu Ann Hampton Laverty Oberlander, and As You Like It (SBCC); Pollock, and Hannah and Martin (DIJO Productions).
