Red Herring  by Michael Hollinger; Directed by Joseph Beck

Madcap mischief surrounds three love stories, a murder mystery and nuclear espionage in this film noir spoof about marriage and other explosive devices. This surprising, clever comedy about six people in search of love in a mixed-up world keeps you laughing-and even thinking-all the way.

May 31st-July 13th

Who’s In Bed With The Butler?  By Michael Parker; Directed by Jim Sirianni

Mr. Olden has just died and his only surviving daughter is contesting the will. It seems that her father left considerable amounts of money to three of his lady “companions”. The hilarity builds as all the ladies arrive in timely fashion, but with each arrival the daughter and her attorney discover all the assets in question have somehow disappeared. Could the suave butler and his “actress-for-hire” wife hold the key? Throw in a slightly batty cook, her pet rat and a bumbling and fumbling detective and you too will be wondering, who’s in bed with the butler?

July 25th-Sept. 7th

Leading Ladies  by Ken Ludwig; Directed by Aaron Levin

In this hilarious comedy, two English Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing “Scenes from Shakespeare” on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, Pennsylvania is about to die and leave her fortune to her long lost nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloveds relatives and get the cash. The trouble is that when they get to New York, they find out that the relatives aren’t nephews but nieces. Romantic entanglements abound as the men test their acting skills and everyone (including the audience) believes the unbelievable.

Sept. 20th-Nov. 2nd

I Remember You  by Bernard Slade

Affluent young businesswoman Tracy is waiting impatiently in a bar for a cab when she meets Austin a middle-aged man who plays lounge piano. Tracy reminds Austin of someone and he uses all of his charm to win her over. He succeeds and before long they’re intended to get married. When he goes to meet Tracy’s mother, Prunella, he sees that fate has taken a hand in this romance. Austin and Prunella were lovers 25 years before and they soon discover that the flame hasn’t entirely gone out. The journey of these three people will make you laugh and perhaps remember that love comes in many forms.
